Every Child Matters
June 21st, 2021 - 10am to 6pm
Every child matters is a tribute to the 215 children recently found in unmarked graves due to the abuse and negligence of the Kamloops Indian residential school, funded by the Canadian government. First Nations people were banned from practicing their culture, language, dances and ceremony. As the number continues to rise we must continue to speak our languages, learn ceremony, dance our style. Sending prayers for the children lost and for the future generations to come. When we dance we pray and when we pray we dance.
